All Salisbury Insulating Hoods are made from orange, weather-resistant TYPE II SALCOR®. The PTHL is used for post-type for insulators up to 16” (406mm) in height.

FEATURES
RIB-GRIP® construction ensures a strong lock to underside of insulators; taking advantage of rubber’s natural tendency to grip and tighten through compression
Curved rib configurations are slit at a specific angle, allowing two pieces to easily slip together but resist coming apart
Simply compress the rubber on either side to quickly disengage
Pinning rings on the cover’s arms prevent separation
Always use clamp pins to secure the device into position
Post-Type Insulator Covers interlock with 1.5” (38mm) Class 4 Extended Lip SU System or Conventional Line Hose
The PTHL cover also has external ribs on the ears which secures 2.5″ (64mm) ID Line Hose
All covers comply with ASTM D1049 specifications
